Grow in Christ with others this Fall – Register Here
“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” – Colossians 2:6-7
Last week I saw many parents posting pictures of their kids on the first day of school. Some of the kids held signs that said “1st grade” and “5th grade”–signs that will help these families track the growth of their children over time. Over the next year these kids are going to grow socially, mentally, and physically as they begin another school year.
But what about you?
Are you going to grow this year?
In the sermon series throughout July, Jason and I emphasized that as Christians we’re called to “grow in Christ.” Healthy growth as a Christian includes the transformation of our hearts, minds, and lives. And healthy growth happens alongside of others. Growing in Christ doesn’t have to be complicated. All you have to do is to take the next step.
We want to make taking the next step easier for you this fall. We have many opportunities available for you to grow alongside of others–with men, women, other couples, on week nights, on week mornings, on Sunday mornings, on Sunday nights, and many other times in between. We hope that you’ll connect with one of these growth groups below!
With our new website, you can register for any of these opportunities online by clicking on the links below:
LifeGroups exist to help people connect relationally and grow spiritually through intentional times of fellowship, study, and support together. LifeGroups meet in people’s homes for an hour and a half to two hours at least every other week. Each LifeGroup is unique, but during gatherings groups typically:
- Fellowship: Meet regularly and share what’s going on in one another’s lives
- Grow: Discuss the Bible or book that the group decides on
- Support: Pray for one another, their families, and the community
If you’re interested in joining a LifeGroup this fall, join us for GroupLink on Sunday, September 15th at 6:30. At this LifeGroup launch event you’ll be able to meet other people interested in getting in a LifeGroup, talk to those already in one, and find a group that fits you. Register for GroupLink here.
