A Growing Together Prayer from Lynnette Cook

image001Lord, you have blessed HMUMC over the years with wonderful ministries, pastors, people, and opportunities.  We are so blessed to be in a community that loves you and loves to help others.  Help us as we continually grow to be the hands, eyes, ears and feet of Jesus.  Open our hearts to be your disciples and help us to reach out to the many who do not know you and to those who need to know your love.   Help us as we search for ways to grow in our own faith and expand our church to welcome your people.  Keep our focus on you and keep us on the path you have you laid out for us.  Let us build our church on solid ground so that people passing by will know that the love of God is in that place. Amen.
