Join this Connect Class based on Bill Hybel’s classic book, Too Busy Not to Pray, and learn how to become a person of prayer alongside of others. Led by Jonathan Andersen & Beverly Neville. GT Celebration TeaserMark Your Calendars for Celebration Sunday

Sunday, March 30 4:30pm to 7:00pm

Join us for a fun-filled Carnival Cookout & Concert celebration! Beginning at 4:30pm, we will have hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks for dinner, and a yummy sundae bar for dessert. The fun activities will include; bounce houses, train rides and games for all ages. Then at 6:00pm, we will enjoy a concert in the Sanctuary featuring special guest artist Doyle Dykes, one of the top ten guitar stylists in the world, and a regular at the Grand Ole’ Opry. This is a free event to celebrate all God is doing and will do here at HMUMC as we Grow Together – Generation to Generation.



3. Crosstown Kids Announcements!


March Madness

The Crosstown Kids have decided to help build the new building! Each Sunday morning in March has a different focus. Kid’s can bring in a dollar each Sunday to participate. Their  goal is to raise $1,000 for the Growing Together campaign. If we meet our goal, Pastor Dave has agreed to preach in his pj’s!

Easter Celebration TeaserEaster Celebration and Egg Hunt – Wednesday, April 2 at 4:30 pm 

Hop on over to the church for a family fun Easter Celebration. The Easter Bunny is coming to HMUMC with baskets full of eggs stuffed with sweet treats and a few special prizes too. He has an Easter Egg Hunt planned for ages 1-3 at 4:30pm, Pre-K-2nd grade at 4:35pm, and 3rd-5thgrade at 4:45pm. Please help the Easter Bunny prepare for this special event by donating plastic Easter eggs stuffed and taped closed.  No peanut products please!

Register your rising 2nd – 7th grader for the ultimate day camp experience today. We are still looking for lots of volunteers, and most importantly we need your help in reaching our $15,000 scholarship goal to help send deserving children in our community to camp to learn more about the God who loves them. 4. FYI 55+ Luncheon

March 31 at 12:00pm in the Sancturay

Senior adults (55+) are invited to join your friends for a luncheon to discuss future FYI 55+ plans/events for 2014. If you can, bring a side dish or dessert to share. The church will provide the main dish. RVSP to ASAP.


5. Out of Darkness Benefit Dinner Invitation

Palm Sunday Cantata “These Things are True of You”

Sunday, April 13 at 8:00am, 9:30am & 11:00am

You will love this musical presentation featuring a full choir, orchestra, soloists, and a relevant message by Dr. David Davis. This service is a great way to start your Holy Week.


Maundy Thursday Communion Service

Thursday, April 17 at 7:00pm

A special communion service focusing on Jesus’ time in the Garden of Gethsemane, the Last Supper and featuring the Mill Creek High School Mastery Ensemble, directed by Stephanie D. Archer, Choral Director. Childcare is available for children 3 years and younger.


Good Friday Service “The Labyrinth”

Friday, April 18 at 7:00pm

This celebration and contemplation service guides you even further on Jesus’s journey to the cross with special music, video, readings and a time of reflection, meditation and prayer. Childcare is available for children 3 years and younger.


EASTER SUNDAY – Sunday, April 20

Celebrate the empty tomb with us – He has risen! Join us at one or more of the six very special services offered on this glorious day!
