With A Little “Madness in March” Fun, Our Crosstown Kids Are About To Reach Their Growing Together Goal! Let’s Join Them!

Categories: Headlines

Our Hamilton Mill UMC Crosstown Kids are really enjoying supporting the Growing Together – Generation to Generation campaign with a little “Madness in March” fun!

The kids have had a blast paying $1 to wear wacky clothes, hats and even their PJ’s to church on Sunday mornings. They are having a lot of fun and doing it all for the new building. Earlier this month, Pastor Dave challenged them to raise $1,000. He has promised to preach in his PJ’s on The Rooftop, if they meet their goal!

Compared to the overall Growing Together – Generation to Generation campaign goal of $3M, $1,000 seems like a small amount, but this campaign is so much more than the dollar amount given. Every gift counts and plays a significant role in God’s plan for HMUMC. Every gift, no matter how large or small, means that we will have the space to touch the lives of those in our community.
Our Growing Together campaign truly is a generation to generation mission. Every person matters here at Hamilton Mill UMC. Everyone from our senior adults to our youngest guest on Sunday morning, each plays a special part in God’s future plans for HMUMC.
This is an exciting time for everyone. Our Crosstown Kids are excited to be a part of this building campaign. In fact, they have enjoyed it so much they have already raised $981.68! This Sunday, March 30, is Team Spirit Day for the Crosstown Kids. You better believe they will be here supporting the Growing Together – Generation to Generation campaign decked out in the colors of their favorite teams and with their dollar in hand. I am confident they will meet their goal!
This is a fun and exciting time for all the adults as well. We did not get the chance to dress silly or wear our PJ’s to church but we sure have had fun Growing Together – Generation to Generation. We have heard amazing testimonies and beautiful prayers from so many church friends. For all adults, this Sunday, March 30, is Celebration Sunday and just like the kids, I am confident we will reach our goal. We have not reached $3M yet, so we need YOU!! Remember, every person and every amount counts. If you have not yet made your pledge, PLEASE make one online using the link button below or bring your pledge card this Sunday morning. Let’s join the Crosstown Kid’s in reaching our goal! Let’s celebrate all God has done and will continue to do at Hamilton Mill UMC, as we Grow Together – Generation to Generation.

Kids, don’t miss this Sunday! It’s bring a $1 and wear your favorite team spirit wear. Come decked out in your team’s colors, jerseys, or even the uniform you wear when you play or cheer! We want all of our Crosstown Kids to have a BLAST this Sunday. We are so close and WHEN we make it we have some exciting things planned to celebrate! Great job, Kids!
