October on the Rooftop

Categories: Crosstown Kids,Uncategorized

October is a blank canvas for our new virtue for the month – CREATIVITY!  Can you paint like Picasso?  Can you sing like Pavarotti?  If you’re like me you flip out just looking at a box of crayons!  And sing a solo in public?  Forget it! But that doesn’t mean we aren’t creative!  God created each of us with amazing minds to think outside of the box, to imagine the possibility in anything!

Creativity:  using your imagination to do something unique. We will challenge kids to use their imaginations and take action to do something good!

Week 1:  Genesis 1  Bottom Line:  You were created, so you can BE creative.

Week 2:  Exodus 1:22-2:10  Bottom Line:  Use your imagination to figure it out.

Week 3:  2 Samuel 23:1-2  Bottom Line:  Use your imagination to do what you were made to do.

Week 4:  Matthew 5: 14-16  Bottom Line:  Use your imagination to do more good.

Our memory verse is Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Each week you have the opportunity to share in this journey with your child by completing the GodTime cards found online or at church on Sunday morning.

Many Blessings,
