October on the Rooftop – Week 2

Categories: Crosstown Kids

I aUnknown15Oct_standard_Verse_NIVm so excited about this month’s theme and weekly bottom lines. Each of us has God given potential that he has placed within us for his purpose. He intends us to use the gifts within us to love and serve others as we share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Our Crosstown Kids are not too young to begin understanding how their story, gifts, and abilities can be used by God to transform the world for Christ. Let’s help them to open up and see what is inside of them right now that will change lives around them and could possibly change the course of their own story.

Last Sunday, we learned how Paul encouraged Timothy by recognizing that even though Timothy was young, he had unique abilities that compelled Paul to take him on a missionary journey.

Bottom Line: When you discover your gifts, you can make a difference.

Why not spend some time on this with your kids this week?

From Rachel Macy Stafford, author of Hands Free Life, “ Thank you, perpetually cluttered house. It is in finding rumpled sheets, toothpaste blobs, and abandoned socks that I appreciate the evidence of life being lived. I shall pay attention and appreciate Life Being Lived.

Enjoy this week with your families.
