15Nov_standard_Service-2November on the Rooftop – Week 5

We have had a great month talking about service!  On Sunday, we visited Matthew 6:1-4.  During the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus shared that when we do good deeds, that we do it in secret.  Helping others is not to be done for recognition but in service to the Father.  Bottom line:  Lend a hand without looking for applause.
Click here for this week’s GodTime card. I encourage you to read the scripture and complete some of the accompanying activities this week to reinforce Sunday’s lesson.
Shawna and I want to see your kids with their Bibles in hand each week at church.  Reading and studying God’s word is a fundamental tool that helps us grow in our walk with the Lord.  Let us help you instill a Bible reading habit in your kiddo by making sure he or she has it with them on Sunday mornings.   Please contact me if your child needs a Bible.
We had a great time kicking off the Advent season at our Annual Deck the Halls Celebration on Sunday, Nov. 29.  We have a few wreath kits left  at $10 each. If you are interested in purchasing a kit, please email me at
