April on the Rooftop – Week 2

Categories: Crosstown Kids

16Apr_standard_Perseverance

This Sunday we continued with our virtue of the month: PERSEVERENCE – refusing to give up when life gets hard. This week we looked at some awesome heroes of the faith who showed how they trusted God when times got tough. We talked about Abraham and Sarah and Noah. Our bottom line: When life gets hard, remember how others persevered. When we see how God helped others in tough times, it helps us trust Him more in our own circumstances.

Crosstown Kids mission project for April is to collect individually wrapped snacks for our VBS volunteer team. It takes A LOT of helpers to make our VBS awesome and we want to have plenty of goodies to feed them while they are working this summer. No peanuts or chocolate please! Donations can be placed in the bin on the stage when you come to the Rooftop on Sunday mornings!

Don’t forget your Bible when you come to church and be sure to bring it to large group with you to practice looking up the story for the day.
