October on the Rooftop – Week 5

It’s hard to believe that the holidays are upon us already! This past Sunday, we experienced intergenerational worship in our new worship center. It was great to see families worshiping God together. We will do this just a handful of Sundays during the year, we hope that you will take advantage of the opportunity and make memories with your family as you worship together.
We will spend the month November in Samuel studying the life of David. We are discussing honor – letting someone know you see how valuable they really are. Our memory verse is Romans 12:10, “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Hopefully, kids will learn that we should see others how God sees them and put others needs ahead of our own.

Mark Your Calendar:

New worship times have begun, 8am, 9:15 and 11am.
November 27: Let’s Deck the Halls! 4:30-6pm. We’ll begin with a special workshop in the old sanctuary where you will get to create your own Advent Wreath to take home and enjoy. We’ll also decorate cookies and sip some hot chocolate! We’ll wrap things up with our interactive worship experience in our new worship center where we’ll enjoy singing and learning about some of our favorite holiday traditions!
