November on the Rooftop Week 1

November’s virtue is HONOR – letting someone know you see how valuable they really are. David’s life gives us some powerful lessons about honor. Each week we will discuss a different event in his life that will support our virtue. This week, we are in 1 Samuel 16:1-13. Samuel was surprised when God chose David to lead His people. This story is an awesome way to remind us that we should give people a chance and see them how God sees them. Our Bottom line: Honor others by giving them a chance.
Our memory verse this month is Romans 12:10. “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”
*****KIDS – don’t forget your Bibles on Sunday morning!*****
