December on the Rooftop Week 2

Categories: Crosstown Kids

Each week there is a devotion online that coincides with our discussion on the Rooftop. Click here to discover how you can spend some time this week with your child studying God’s word and going deeper into the lesson we presented on Sunday!
Our bottom line this week was, “I can have joy because anything is possible with God.” Zechariah was visited by an angel proclaiming that he and Elizabeth would have a son! They were way too old to have kids, but anything is possible with God! They rejoiced when John the Baptist was born to them, the cousin of Jesus.
Our memory verse this month:
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4 (NIV)

Mark Your Calendar:

December 24: Christmas Eve Family services at HMUMC, 11am – Communion and Nativity Service and 3pm – A Family Christmas Experience! Visit for more information and additional worship times on Christmas Eve.
December 25: Merry Christmas! There will be no Crosstown Kids programming on Christmas Day. Come worship as a family at 11am in our new worship center!
January 1: Happy New Year! We will have regular programming for kids on this day!

Mission Project for December:

In December, the Family Ministries team will be collecting new unwrapped toys for Operation Toy Soldier, a nationwide initiative to provide toys to the children of deployed and non-deployed Military. The toys we collect will be given to the children of soldiers in the Atlanta area.
Donation bins are located outside of the preschool office, in the Rooftop and The Shed. Thank you for your support.
Many Blessings,
