December on the Rooftop Week 4

Categories: Crosstown Kids

We had a wonderful day of worship on Christmas Eve and I pray that you were able to enjoy family and friends on Christmas Day.
Each week there is a devotion online that coincides with our discussion on the Rooftop.  Click here to discover how you can spend some time this week with your child studying God’s word and going deeper into the lesson we presented on Sunday!
Our bottom line this week was, “I can have joy because anything is possible with God.”
In Luke 2:8-20, God chooses shepherds to announce to the world that the Savior was born. Shepherds were at the bottom of the social totem pole, and God strategically chose them to be the first to know of Christ’s birth. You see, the birth of Jesus was good news to everyone, both royalty and the lowly shepherds. Regardless of who you are, Jesus came for you.
Our memory verse this month:
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4 (NIV)

Mark Your Calendar:

This Month’s Mission Project: In January, the Family Ministries team will be collecting new and gently used coats and blankets for those in need locally. Donation bins are located outside of the preschool office, in the Rooftop and The Shed. Thank you for your support.
