January on the Rooftop Week 2

Categories: Crosstown Kids

The virtue for January on the Rooftop is Knowledge – discovering something new so you can be better at whatever you do. Our memory verse comes from Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”  God’s word points us in the right direction towards a growing relationship with Jesus.
This week, we journeyed with the wise men as they followed the star to find the King of Kings prophesied in ancient Hebrew scriptures.  Just like the star, the Bible points us to Jesus.  To know more about Jesus, the Bible is the key!  Our bottom line:  Discovering what God says helps you know Jesus.
Each week there is a devotion online that coincides with our discussion on the Rooftop.  Click here to discover how you can spend some time this week with your child studying God’s word and going deeper into the lesson we presented on Sunday!
