January on the Rooftop Week 3

Categories: Crosstown Kids

This week we studied from Luke 2:41-52 where we journeyed to Jerusalem when Jesus was just 12 years old. Mary and Joseph had already begun their journey home when they discovered that Jesus wasn’t with them. They turned around and found Jesus in His Father’s house, where he knew that he needed to be. Our bottom line this week: Discovering what God says helps you follow Jesus.
The virtue for January on the Rooftop is Knowledge – discovering something new so you can be better at whatever you do. Our memory verse comes from Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” God’s word points us in the right direction towards a growing relationship with Jesus.
Each week there is a devotion online that coincides with our discussion on the Rooftop.  Click here to discover how you can spend some time this week with your child studying God’s word and going deeper into the lesson we presented on Sunday!
