1. This Sunday
This Sunday, October 1st in Worship
Services: Word & Table Service @ 8am  |  Modern Service @ 9:15am  |  Traditional Service @ 11:00am
This month we will mark one year in our new worship center!  On this Sunday, which is also World Communion Sunday, we will consider the beauty of this building as God’s house for God’s people and explore its unique “architecture of grace.”  In this holy space, the world and God’s kingdom meet.  “Let us therefore approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
World Communion Sunday & Family Worship
THIS SUNDAY, October 1
at the 8am, 9:15am & 11am services
World Communion Sunday offers a distinctive opportunity to experience Holy Communion in the context of the global community of faith. On this day, we remember that we are part of the whole body of believers. World Communion Sunday can be both a profound worship experience and a time for learning, so we are inviting our kids and students (K-12th grade) to join us in worship at all three services. We will NOT have Rooftop Worship for K-5th graders, confirmation for 6th grade or E3 for 7th-12th graders THIS SUNDAY. We want them with us in service for this special Sunday in the life of the church!
2. NEW Growth Groups Starting Soon
New Growth Group STARTS TONIGHT!
Future Family
Wednesdays 6:30pm-7:45pm | September 27 – November 1
Led by Christy Recinella & Jill Dietz
$10 for optional study guide
Family. We all have one. And, we often want our Future Family to be a step up from our families of origin. When it comes to family, what does your preferred future look like? Whether you’re starting a family, raising a family, or wondering if family’s worth the effort, this 6-part study provides direction and hope.
The Parables of Jesus
Pastor Mark’s Study STARTS TONIGHT!

Wednesdays 6:30pm-7:45pm | September 27 – October 25

Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable.
-Matthew 13:34
What did he mean?  That’s always the question we ask when we hear one of Jesus’ parables. We want some answers, some rules, something we can run with, but Jesus keeps talking in parables.
Beginning September 27, Mark Westmoreland will guide us as we explore the “dark sayings” of Jesus, the parables.  Some are but a sentence, others rich and detailed stories, but they all have the power to draw us into the mystery and truth of the kingdom of God, the grace of God, and even the judgment of God.  As we tell the stories again, we’ll see what commentators and teachers have to say, but, more importantly, we’ll listen.  Where will the parables take us?  Jesus has something to say to us.  May we have ears to hear.
Philippians: Run the Race Women’s Bible Study
Wednesdays 6:30pm-7:45pm | October 4 – November 15
In this study of Philippians, you will find all you need to run with strength and confidence: joy beyond measure, perseverance, a servant’s heart, hope for the future, a peace beyond understanding, and the necessary key to success: running partners in Christ. The cost of the book is $6.

Women’s Wednesday Morning Study – Boundaries
Wednesdays 9:30am – 10:45am | October 25 – November 15 | Led by Beverly Neville | Free Class (optional book)
This 4-week DVD and discussion based study will draw on the influential book of Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend, Boundaries. Have you ever found yourself wondering: Can I set limits and still be a loving person? How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy, or money? Why do I feel guilty when I consider setting boundaries? Christians often focus so much on being loving and giving that they forget their own limits and limitations. Discover how sound boundaries give you the freedom to walk as the loving, giving, fulfilled individual God created you to be.
Class sign up coming soon!
