This Week’s Top Ten!
1. Happy Thanksgiving!
As we pause and reflect on all the things we’re thankful for this Thanksgiving, we want you to know that you are on the top of our list!
From the Pastors and Staff at Hamilton Mill UMC:
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! We hope you enjoy eating great food and making incredible memories with friends and family. It is a joy and a privilege to be your brothers and sisters in Christ and to serve along side of you in ministry. Together, may our service to the Lord “overflow in many thanksgivings to God” (2 Corinthians 9:12)!
2. This Sunday in Worship
This Sunday, November 26 in Worship
Services: Word & Table Service @ 8am  |  Modern Service @ 9:15am  |  Traditional Service @ 11:00am
We are officially in the midst of holiday season, and we are entering into the busyness and beauty of Christmas. It seems that without a doubt, travel will occur during the holiday season which means packing our bags or dealing with our guests’ baggage. We’ll take this Sunday to explore the baggage we bring along with us as we travel throughout life. With Colossians 3 as our guide, together we will explore what it means to “be thankful” people and what we might find when we take a look at the luggage we carry right now.
3. Parent Event NEXT WEDNESDAY!
Parent Event: What’s Happening in Schools?

Wednesday, November 29 from 6:30pm to 7:45pm

High school and middle school parents, find out the latest scoop on what’s happening in your child’s school at our next parent event. We’re bringing in Linda Boyd, Twin Rivers Middle School principal, and Maryanne Crimes, a former principal at Central Gwinnett High School, to talk about hot topics. Our two experts will cover culture in the schools, healthy friendships, homework motivation, the balance between student independence and parent oversight, and other words of wisdom for parents.
