January 7 on the Rooftop
Categories: Crosstown Kids
A great way to start the new year is by focusing on Commitment – making a plan and putting it into practice. All month long we’ll practice different ways to know God better and committing our lives to Him. This week, we hear from Jesus about two builders; one built his house on solid rock and the other on the shifting sand. We want kids to learn that building on a solid foundation – hearing and doing what Jesus says – is the best way to approach life. Our bottom line this week: Practice hearing and doing what God says. January’s memory verse is 1 Timothy 4:8, “For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.”
