2. This Sunday in Worship
Join us in worship THIS SUNDAY, January 28
Word & Table Service at 8am | Modern Service at 9:15am |
Traditional Service at 11:00am
Life is rarely neat and tidy, and even within our households (maybe especially within our households), we often relate in unhealthy ways.  If you need any proof of this, read the story of Isaac, Rebekah, Esau, and Jacob, a nuclear family in the most explosive sense.  Yet, for all their mess, there they are in Genesis, and through them God’s salvation moved in the world.  It’s hard to block the will of God.  For all of our messes and foul-ups, God is at work, moving through our brokenness to bring healing, working through our weaknesses to offer grace, choosing us, despite our sinfulness, to be children of the Most High.  The way things are is not the way they have to be.  This Sunday we’ll talk about the many ways–sometimes direct, sometimes roundabout–that God moves through our messes to bring hope and salvation.
