Phyllis Rogeri, Executive Assistant here at Hamilton Mill UMC is dedicated to serving our church, pastors, staff and all who come to worship here at our church. She welcomes each person who enters our church with a sweet and friendly smile. Phyllis and her daughter, Madison have been worshiping here for several years. She has a degree from Pensacola State College, and has vast prior experience as an executive assistant, in human resources and payroll.

What do you believe God has called you to do here at HMUMC?

I greatly appreciate this opportunity to serve Him and the people of this church.  This call, this charge that I have been given – I do not take lightly.  It is my mission and with the utmost respect – to support this church, the pastors, the staff and all who come here to worship.


What is your vision for your position?

I want to be as dependable as possible to the Pastor and staff and I want to be able to answer all questions for new members.


Where would you like to see your ministry in 5 years? 

I have found that my experiences in this church have been incredibly rewarding.  As my service continues, I would like to be involved with single parents, single adults and seniors and encourage them to network together.  We all know that supportive friends are treasures and to be able to connect with others who can identify with your life circumstances is very comforting, especially during holidays.


Where are you praying for people to help?

I want individuals of any age, who are living their life alone, for whatever reason, not to shy away or feel intimidated and to know that they have a place here.  I want them to know they can walk in the front door and feel like they fit in – just like everyone else.


Matthew 17:20 “…I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
