“You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. And you must love your neighbor as you love yourself.”

Growing as a disciple of Jesus is a lifelong journey of transformation by the grace of God. We want to help you grow in your relationship and love with God, other Christians, and your neighbors. And we believe that the best way to grow as a disciple is alongside of others.

We all know the importance of traditional wills, but how many of us have heard of ‘ethical wills’? While having our financial affairs in order is important, leaving letters, DVDs, recorded messages, and other reminders of our love, encouragement, vision, and hopes for our loved ones can be even more so. Come and learn how ethical wills make a difference and how to create one from our guest speaker Zoe Hicks. Mrs. Hicks is an author, speaker, estate planning attorney, dog lover and soul food gourmet. She belongs to Oak Grove UMC where she teaches Disciple Bible studies and adult SS classes.
