About Us
Get to know more about what makes us different.
Our mission statement is, “Connecting men and bringing them into relationship with Jesus Christ.” Being a Christian man can be a lot of fun, and men realize that as they build strong friendships with other Christian men. This ministry invites all men to join them in a socially unthreatening atmosphere where guys can come and hang out with two types of guys: 1) guys who are in the same place that they are in spiritually; and 2) guys who are at a place spiritually where they would like to be someday.
Why is this ministry an important part of our church and community?
So many men today feel inadequate or ill-equipped to be spiritual leaders in their homes or in the community. When men can spend time hanging out with other men who are already living this out, they gain the confidence and enthusiasm to pursue it themselves. For better or for worse, we tend to take on the qualities of the people with whom we have surrounded ourselves. Men who have an opportunity to see other men taking charge of their spiritual growth and living as spiritual leaders will begin to emulate what they see.
Why will I love to serve here?
Because it’s fun! Honestly, you will love having fun and goofing off with the other guys in the Men’s Ministry. You can let your guard down here, and be yourself with this group. Everyone needs a place where we can feel that way.
