Welcome to our Roadmap to Reopening*

All Activities and Dates are Subject to Change
As you probably know, over the past few days, our COVID-19 case numbers here in Gwinnett County have been sharply on the rise. In fact, today we’re at the second-highest level of outbreak in the last nine months and it’s uncertain when we’ll see the peak of this current spike.

Because of this, we’ll be moving our Sunday morning worship services, Student ministry events, and Kids ministry events to online-only for the rest of the year. As you know, our biggest goal has always been the health and safety of our church members and community and, as Christians, we want to make sure we’re doing our part to stop the spread of the virus and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue to keep an eye on our numbers and will reopen for in-person ministries as soon as possible. If you want to track the numbers that we’ve been using, you can go to www.globalepidemics.org which has statistical information for every county in the U.S. When we’re out of the red zone, we can resume in-person gatherings.
*Hamilton Mill UMC will continue to follow the CDC, State, and North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church safety guidelines in all environments. These dates and plans are based on information currently available and will continue to change. Additionally, the HMUMC Staff will be in continuous conversations with the HMUMC Health Advisory Committee. Our number one priority is to maintain the highest level of safety and care for all.
