Christmas Events at HMUMC
Advent Series: Setting the Stage for Christmas | Starts November 30th
The season of advent provides an opportunity to intentionally prepare our hearts and minds for the celebration of Jesus’ birth. One way we will prepare is by reflecting on who God invited into the story of Christmas. These ordinary people got to be a part of something that changed the world and brought salvation to all people. We will discover that they are a lot like us ordinary, messy, broken, needy and real people to be a part of Jesus’ birth.
Women’s Ministry Christmas Dinner | Dec. 6
Join us for our Annual Women's Ministry Christmas Dinner on December 6th at 7:00PM in the Student Center. Our theme is Heavenly Harmonies: A Christmas Celebration. There will be musical entertainment, a raffle, catered food, and fun activities! Women's Ministry will be collecting gently used coats to donate to the homeless. Childcare will be available for 5th grade and under.
The Sounds of Christmas | Dec. 7
Join us for our Community Christmas Carol Concert on December 7th at 2PM. We will have sing-alongs featuring our Chancel Choir, Osborne Middle School’s Band, and more! Following the event we will have cookies and hot chocolate to share.
Student Ministry Christmas Party | Dec. 7
Calling all 6th-12th graders: wear your Christmas PJ's and come enjoy a Winter Wonderland! We're celebrating the season together! We'll have dinner, fun, games, devotional and of course, Christmas Cookies! This is a great way to kick off the Christmas season with your Student Min Friends!
Christmas Cantata | Dec. 14
Join us for our annual Christmas Cantata on December 15th at 11:00am worship. This year's theme is "Invitation to a Miracle"
Please note we will still have 9:30 worship as usual, but we will not have worship at 8:15.
Christmas Eve at HMUMC | Dec. 24
We hope you will join us for a Christmas Eve service and bring a friend!

One Service | Dec. 28
Following the Christmas Holiday we will have one service at 10am on Dec. 28th. We hope you will join us in-person or online. Pastor Wendy will be delivering a powerful sermon!
